Quick Start Up of Leachate Treatment Plant

1) Project: 50 cum /day LTP; with COD 8000 mg/ L, NH3-N 1300 mg/L;

2) Project problem: Existing biological treatment is malfunction, need to restart-up;

3) Poor activated sludge and low reduction performance

4) Flow Diagram: Influent > EQ > UASB > A/O > TMBR > NF > RO> Effluent

1) Remove all previous activated sludge, and transfer new activated sludge from WWTP;

2) Dilute 2 time for raw wastewater to ensure quick cultivation;

3) Inoculate ANAEROBIC DIGEST BACTERIA + DENITRIFYING BACTERIA to anoxic tank,

4) Inoculate Aerobic bacteria + NITRIFYING BACTERIA to aeration tank.

5) Daily add 25 kg glucose and 5 kg phosphate as nutrient to balance C:N:P for cultivation,

6) Adopt step-by-step feed, adjustment and continuous operation plan to ensure rapid

propagation of microorganism;

1） Dosing 15 kg Aerobic bacteria to aeration tank for 10 days;

2） Dosing 10 kg Nitrifying bacteria to aerobic tank for 10 days;

3） Dosing 12 kg ANAEROBIC DIGEST to anoxic tank for 10 days;

4） Dosing 8 kg denitrifying bacteria to anoxic tank for 10 days;
